Spring Means Heartworm Prevention!

Spring is here and that means the bugs are coming out. One of those bugs can be deadly to your pets....the mosquito. The mosquito can carry the heartworm larvae and if they bite your dog or cat that larvae can cause heartworm in your pet. While heartworm can be treated easier now than in the past, it is still a very difficult (and expensive) treatment process to go through. Get your dog or cat tested now to be sure they are heartworm free and then get them started on a preventative. Remember, heartworm is a lot easier to prevent than it is to treat!
